Some years ago, when I first got involved with web design, many pages on the web (especially personal sites) were poorly designed.. they had garish, clashing colours, text that was hard to read, and a gazillion flashing, jumping graphics.
Thankfully, things have settled down, as many people are becoming more skilled, and services such as blogs are available. Colours work better, and are used sparingly, text is neat, and flashing grpahics are few and far between.
Then there’s MySpace! Most of the templates out there are horrendous.. garish, clashing colours, text that’s hard to read (some are impossible), and a gazillion flashing, jumping graphics. Hmm.. have we been here before?!
Well, you KNOW how completely inept I am at the internet…I can barely navigate This site is nice and tranquil…love that there aren’t a bunch of graphics flying at me like missiles.
I cant stand My Space - it’s a horrible layout and it’s all bright, flashing colours and visual noise. I’ve never understood the attraction. I’ve always preferred a classier look - like this place!
