Change Of Address - Who To Inform? September 14, 2007

Ok, so finally, we’re moving..and I’ve started thinking of all the people and places that need to be informed of our new address; and I’m sure I’mgoing to miss some.
So, aside from the obvious ones, such as banks, gas, sky, broadband etc.. who else can you think of. I thought if I grabbed the ideas of all those who pass through, I’m more likely to remember everything.
Thanks! ![]()
The following from the BBC has proved useful in the past.

I don’t know about the UK, but here in the States the post office has a form to fill out that will forward all your mail to you. Meaning, that eventually you’ll change addresses with everyone WITHOUT losing your mail.
The ones I forgot about initially was the doctor’s office.
Yep, that was the first thing I did.
(Cost me £23 for 6 months, too!)
It’s those little things that you may not get mail about that worry me (tv licence, that kinda thing).
I’ve also been surprised by the amount of things I will be able to do online. I guess sorting out my broadband becomes a priority! (as if it wouldn’t be anyway! LOL)
Thanks Janet - that looks useful!
